Toronto Gears Up to Host the Largest Bitcoin Event in Canadian History

The city of Toronto is preparing to play host to the largest Bitcoin event in Canadian history. The city’s Metro Toronto Convention Centre will house the three day event, which was made possible by the Bitcoin Alliance of Canada.

The Exhibition will cement Canada's place as the nexus for Bitcoin, as multitudes engage and discuss strategies that will help mold the future of digital currencies, not only in Canada, but globally.

Toronto makes a fitting location for the Expo as it has recently emerged as a global hub for Bitcoin with the installation of Bitcoin ATMs in the city, and organizations such as, Bitcoin Decentral, and the newly launched, Prepaid Bitcoin.

“These are exciting times, and I can't think of a better place to have the Expo than in Toronto,” said Prepaid Bitcoin CEO Josh Agho.

“The city has really become a Bitcoin powerhouse with increasing numbers of vendors and merchants accepting Bitcoin for regular everyday items.”

Prepaid Bitcoin cards function in a similar way to a gift card, and can be purchased in $10, $25, $50, $100 denominations. They're a convenient way to purchase Bitcoins for oneself, or to use as a gift. The cards are available now in stores and online.

About Prepaid Bitcoin

The company was founded to bring simplicity and ease of use to the world of cryptocurrency. By combining the Bitcoin phenomenon with prepaid gift cards, the company provides an innovative solution for consumers interested in a simple way to obtain Bitcoin.
