ZeroBlock Acquires Real-Time Bitcoin Trading Platform RTBTC

ZeroBlock, the bitcoin mobile app specialist acquired by Blockchain.info last December, has purchased real-time bitcoin trading platform and market visualization provider RTBTC. Notably, the acquisition is part of a larger play by Blockchain to attract institutional investors to its ZeroBlock property. Bitcoin Trading Platform ZeroBlock to Close

Bitcoin trading platform ZeroBlock is closing down on Thursday, according to a notice posted to the service’s website. A separate notice displayed to trading platform users advised revoking “any API keys from your exchange service”, stating that the ZeroBlock database will be wiped after the shut down on 7th April. The service, owned by bitcoin wallet service Blockchain since 2013, did not disclose why it is closing down.
