Ripple Labs today was named the world's fourth Most Innovative Company in Money for 2015 by Fast Company as part of its annual Most Innovative Companies Issue. Most Innovative Companies is Fast Company's highly anticipated annual ranking of the world's leading enterprises and rising newcomers that exemplify the best in business and innovation.

Ripple Labs Nears Close of $30 Million Funding Round

Ripple Labs, the company behind the Ripple protocol and the Codius smart contract platform, is close to finalizing the deal on a new $30 Million USD funding round. $1 Million Legal Fight Ensnares Ripple, Bitstamp and Jed McCaleb

Bitstamp has initiated legal action over more than $1m in disputed funds related to the sale of nearly 100m XRP last month. Bitstamp, which operates a Ripple gateway and bitcoin exchange, filed a complaint for interpleader on 1st April in the US District Court in the Northern District of California. Ripple Labs to Add Additional User Verification Procedures

Payment protocol company Ripple Labs recently announced an additional step that would require users to submit their personal information to use Ripple network. In an email sent to its customers last week, the Californian startup said it wanted to bring additional verification procedures for users in order to comply with the ongoing regulatory sketching.
