Coin-Chat Pro for Android™, a bitcoin inspired social app for digital currency enthusiasts

Developer releases first crypto currency themed social app, which features an anonymous chat room, "craigslist styled" classifieds, a social wall, plus more.

Now available on the Google Play app marketplace, Coin-Chat is a simple and user friendly social platform which only exists in app form. Originally created as somewhat of a hybrid by borrowing from the likes of “Instagram,” another social sharing app which can only be accessed via application, and “Snapchat,” a messaging app where messages have a time of expiration before they are deleted from the servers, Coin-Chatis making its debut as an amalgam of recent technology reapplied.

Upon opening the application, users are greeted with the hierarchy of the app features, and the Coin-Chat chat room at the very head. With its retro style look bearing resemblance to the infamous “AOL” chat rooms from way back in the days, when entering this chat feature, users have the option of choosing a username or remaining completely anonymous.

What is most unique about this chat room is that its conversations are permanently deleted every several hours, never to be accessed again. Next, a “Craigslist like” classifieds section, where users can post ads on a broad range of subjects. Inputting valid identification information, such as an email/phone number, is not required. Moving on to the following, the social wall is very simple and designated for commenting purposes. Here, users can leave feedback and like posts.

For anyone possessing the desire to share their geographical data, there is a user map section where users can pin their location, as well as simultaneously send instant messages to the community. Map locations are only added upon user request and any information shared on the app is limited to users only.  Additional basic features include; digital currency related news, the Coin-Chat official blog, a mobile store, and social sharing.

An amalgam of recent technology reapplied.
