Two media releases were sent out today indicating that Netherlands based Mining ASICs Technologies (MAT) has emerged as the potentially heaviest hitter in the ever growing ASIC Mining arena: a 6 TH/s machine that consumes upwards of 6500W for a price of €6,999. Not only is MAT planning to offer the most powerful and energy efficient Bitcoin ASICs to date, they are also going to develop Scrypt Miners.
