TheCryptoStore - Buy Anything In Bitcoin!

Thecryptostore is an e-commerce website where you can literally buy anything in bitcoin from groceries, to electronics and clothes. We got the chance to interview Jonathan Farah, the founder of theCryptostore, and asked him about theCryptostore and how it is different from other e-commerce websites. Tell us a bit about theCryptoStore? Me and my co-founder thought about creating a place where everyone can go and buy anything from groceries, to shoes, a woman's jacket....etc, because we realized that a lot of merchants were integrating bitcoin and starting to accept bitcoin, but the issue....

From Dell to Rakuten: 10 Most Popular Vendors That Accept Bitcoin

Bitcoin remains the most widely used cryptocurrency, so for many online vendors it's a good alternative to the U.S. dollar. Microsoft, CheapAir and other big retail names have already jumped on the Bitcoin bandwagon, with many more to follow. To be fair, most Bitcoin-accepting vendors don't accept Bitcoin directly. Bitcoin-Only Business Sells Persian Shoes

How many Bitcoin-only businesses are out there that you know about? Chances are not many, because it seems like the vast majority of businesses that do accept Bitcoin also accept traditional currencies. According to the site, the reason they're only accepting Bitcoin relates to the fact that they're selling leather goods from Iran, and many payment processors simply won't touch....

You are browsing the fine selection of leather walking shoes, and find the perfect pair for your next weekend ramble. You pick up the shoes and go to the sales clerk to make payment, however you notice there are no tills, no cash card machines, how does the store take payment. The clerk then tells you that they only accept cyber-currency or Bitcoins. Thankfully you have your digital wallet on your mobile phone and can make payment and purchase your new shoes. Digital currency or Bitcoins are the wave of....

Overstock Dangles Rewards For Bitcoin-Friendly Vendors

Overstock hopes to encourage bitcoin use with a range of incentives for vendors who decide to accept payments in the digital currency. Speaking in a podcast at the libertarian Porcupine Freedom Festival, Overstock CEO Patrick Byrne said, "We're going to start giving sort of special deals to the vendors who want to be paid in bitcoin." This could mean offering discounts and favourable terms to vendors selling through the Overstock platform if they start to accept bitcoin, he indicated, adding that the company may also reward those who already accept the digital currency. Notably, Byrne also....
