Blockchain and Bitcoin Foundation unveil inaugural Blockchain Awards
The two organizations, Blockchain and the Bitcoin Foundation are trying to award those entities that are encouraging users to adapt Bitcoin and helping out the digital currency big way. Now, the two organizations have introduced the inaugural Blockchain Awards. In an announcement they say that the first annual Blockchain Awards will be given in May. The announcement came when the two organizations said that they want to celebrate innovation and excellence in the Bitcoin community with the awards. Blockchain and the Bitcoin Foundation introduced the inaugural Blockchain Awards today. The two organizations will co-host the event to be held on 16th May at the Bitcoin 2014 Conference in Amsterdam. The awards will celebrate "the exceptional quality, leadership, and technical innovation we see every day," Blockchain CEO Nicolas Cary said in a statement. The Bitcoin Foundation today announced on their blog that the first annual Blockchain Awards will be hosted at the Bitcoin 2014 Conference that takes place in Amsterdam from May 15th - May 17th.
