The exchange's website has been up and down this afternoon due to unknown reasons. It's very much the center of much paranoia, with some even speculating they've been forced to shut down by a government entity. Of course, that doesn't seem to be the case. It's not just you, folks. BitStamp appears to be down at the moment. A number of users on Reddit have reported issues accessing the Bitcoin exchange's website in the past hour or so. No indication as to what the issue is, but users are greeted with an "Internal Server Error" upon accessing the website.
