Monday's Senate hearing on Bitcoin was, overall, positive for the digital currency. Today, we're expecting yet another hearing. It's being held by the U. S. Senate Committee on Banking, Housing, and Urban Affairs. The time? 3:30PM. The Senate Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs committee will today be holding a hearing on Capitol Hill at 3PM Eastern time on the topic of Bitcoin. French Senate Convenes For Bitcoin Hearing, Overall Outlook is Positive

As announced last week, the French Senate met today in Paris to hold a hearing on bitcoin, it's benefits, and it's downsides. Reddit.com user 'mmitech' took the opportunity to post notes about what took place at the meeting the meeting here. According to the user's bullet points, it would appear as if the French government is keen to "catch up" with bitcoin.
