New York City Bitcoin Center Hosted its First Hackathon This Weekend

This past weekend, the newly-established New York City Bitcoin Center held it's first hackathon event, which was designed to allow participants to improved existing bitcoin-related applications and ways to improve cryptocurrency exchanges. One of the more noteworthy presentations was on a bitcoin ATM model including a discussion of the hardware and software," said James Barcia, communications director at the Center. The 72-hour event went right through the holiday weekend - and that's not the end of it. The NYC Bitcoin Center is planning to host more of these hackathon events at least once....
