There's a whole lot of firsts in the realm of bitcoin - and today, another. The first bitcoin vending machine is slated to hit the Temple Bar district in Dublin, Ireland in the next few days. The information comes from staff at Hippety's Café, who said: "[they're] just smoothing out a few issues and expect the ATM to go live in the next few days," in a statement to Independant.ie. The machine is manufactured by Lamassu and will be operated in the country by BitVendo, who's ultimate goal is to scatter machines throughout not only Ireland, but the United Kingdom, as well.
