A partner at the $3bn venture capital fund General Catalyst Partners, Hemant Taneja focuses on investing in early-stage technology companies. He is a board member of Stripe and ZenPayroll, among other companies. Last week, GC joined with Breyer Capital and Accel Partners to lead a $17m Series B investment in Circle Internet Financial, a digital currency company with services for both consumers and businesses. Visa Working on Blockchain Tech in Innovation Labs

Leading global credit card processing firm Visa will soon begin researching bitcoin and blockchain technology, according to a new report. VISA Chooses India for Blockchain Tech Development

The world’s largest payments network is expanding its new technology center in India to focus on blockchain technology development for its global endeavors.
