In late April we learned that Europe was slated to receive its first bitcoin center of sorts with the advent of La Maison du Bitcoin, or the House of Bitcoin, in Paris. Today - as planned - the center has opened. Located in the heart of the city (specifically 35 Rue du Caire), the center's overall objective is to kickstart the crypto-currency movement in France. To do this, La Maison will be host to a number of bitcoin meetups and other events. One of the first bitcoin centers in Europe is slated to make its grand opening come the 13th of May in Paris, France.
