How to Test the First Wallet (ensuring the 2nd and 3rd ones work)
- use a QR code reader to scan the first public key (blockchain.info app, etc)
- send a small amount (less than a dollar) to the Public Key
- Wait!
- once it has 6 confirmations...
- Log in to your Blockchain.info account
- click Advanced
- I agree
- Import Private Key
- (scan the private key using a QR code reader like QR Journal or the blockchain
webpage)
- Type your passphrase
- Wait! and green boxes mean success
-- By testing the first wallet, you ensure the passphrase works and when it's time to import from the wallet, it will work. Now send your Bitcoins to the public keys of the other two wallets and repeat these steps to create more wallets.
