An elaborate scheme is being crafted on the internet to make the price of litecoin go up and then make it go down. a pump and then a dump.

And then probably a pump again because litecoin still seems really cool and I'm not sure how the value of it could go down.

They claim they have a conspiracy of miners to work with them, but I already thought that litecoin was a miners' conspiracy against the Asics of Bitcoin. Why would the miners torpedo their own currency?
