Bitcoin-based financial platform Wirex, formerly known as E-Coin, has raised $3 million in a Series A funding round from the Fintech fund established by Japanese financial giant SBI Group. The message included a BitGo tweet advising users it was under a distributed denial of service (DDoS) attack.
