eZ-Xpo™ Becomes the World’s 1st Virtual Trade Show Platform to Accept Bitcoin
For all global and local trade show organizers, eZ-Xpo™ empowers event organizers to boost bottom line profits by accepting Bitcoin payments for virtual events, trade shows, and conferences with almost zero transaction fee.
eZ-Xpo™, a global leader in Virtual Trade Shows and Private Business Networking solutions, today announced it is accepting Bitcoin in Q2, 2014 for all local business, global trade show and event organizers worldwide.
Bitcoin is a consensus network that enables a new payment system and completely digital money. It is the first decentralized peer-to-peer payment network that is powered by its users with no central authority or middlemen. From a user perspective, Bitcoin is like cash for the Internet. Despite recent debates, Bitcoin is a secure and inexpensive way to handle payments.
Client benefits of using Bitcoin for hosting a virtual trade show or participating in a virtual trade show include:
• Mobile payments made easy -- no sign up, swiping or PIN needed.
• Security -- Transactions are secured by military-grade cryptography. Nobody can charge anyone or make a payment on others' behalf.
• Works anywhere, anytime
• Fast international payments
• Zero or Low fees
• Identity protection
"eZ-Xpo is always at the front end of the next big innovation and we believe Bitcoin is the next big thing online that will disrupt the financial payment ecosystem," said Matt Fok, Founder and CEO, eZ-XPO. "We are accepting Bitcoin as a service to our customers who prefer to use the digital currency "as a matter of convenience. As far as eZ-XPO, this will help accelerate the virtual trade mission for import and export as well as helping many small to medium sized companies to boost their bottom-line ROI profits," he added.
"Bitcoin will be a breakthrough innovation to accelerate global trade for exports and imports and break down barriers for global trade mission. Every exhibitor will be able to sell from its virtual booth using Bitcoin payment. Trade show organizers and local business should definitely see this as a secret weapon advantage."
"I am excited about the global business potential Bitcoin can bring to help every local business, and every enterprise company worldwide with higher profit margin since Bitcoin charges almost zero fee transaction," said Fok.
eZ-Xpo is partnering with Coinbase.com, a startup backed by venture capital firm Andreessen Horowitz. While eZ-Xpo does not plan to accept Bitcoin payments directly, it instead plans to use Coinbase.com to accept Bitcoin payments on the company's behalf, and then immediately converts those Bitcoin payments into U.S. dollars. As a result, eZ-Xpo receives payment for services it sells at a price in U.S. dollars.
eZ-Xpo will be participating in the coming Coinbase's Hackathon later this month.
