Online bitcoin casino ‘CoinRoyale’ introduces three new games
A Review of CoinRoyale
When I was first greeted with CoinRoyale.com‘s homepage, I thought its design was beautiful. Simple, elegant, and leaves a good first impression. From their homepage, you can choose to play one of their five well-designed games: blackjack, baccarat, video poker, dice, and roulette. Today I’m going to focus on video poker, dice, and roulette, their three newest games, all released in April. I was credited with 0.1 bitcoins to try out these games.
Roulette
When you first see CoinRoyale’s bitcoin roulette game, you’ll think it’s real, not online. Everything is just so well done. The roulette wheel spins even when it’s not being used, just showing how much thought CoinRoyale put into this game. The spins are not at all laggy and I have yet to encounter a bug whilst playing this game, something that I’ve learned to expect while playing on CoinRoyale.
Dice
Like all of CoinRoyale’s other games, bitcoin dice is well-designed and easy to use. It’s also the simplest game, and likely one that beginners will go to first. The premise is simple: if the number on the die is above 50.4999 and you “Roll High”, you win. If the die is below 50.4999 and you “Roll High”, you lose, and (pretty much) vice-versa for “Roll Low”. The game even features the option to increase your chances of winning — sounds too good to be true? Well, it is. Increasing your chances of winning lowers your payout, so you’re still taking the same risk as if you didn’t increase your chances.
Video Poker
CoinRoyale’s bitcoin video poker game is neat and works as it’s supposed to. It’s five-card draw poker. The user has the ability to change the size of their bet as well as change the speed that the cards are dealt. A great feature of the game is that you can deal cards by pressing spacebar and hold cards by pressing the a, s, d, f, or g keys respectively to which card you’d like to hold.
Payouts
I can confirm that CoinRoyale legitimately pays out immediately. I withdrew my balance and checked my wallet a minute later, and the payout was already pending. The withdrawal system is simple and easy to use.
The good
- (What seems to be) flawless gameplay
- Sleek, non-laggy interface
- No bugs found
- Options to optimize playing experience
- Keyboard shortcuts to roll or deal are a huge feature and really help to show the level of thought the creators and developers put into this site
- The option to play with play money (fake money, no depositing or withdrawing) that allows users to try out the site
What could be better
- There are no easily found descriptions on how to play the games. For a few of the games tutorials can be found on CoinRoyale’s blog, but those tutorials are not easily found. Tutorials straight on the game’s pages would help users who are new.
- There’s nothing at the bottom of the website that gives a phone number or links to a website for gambling addiction. This is vital, as someone who is about to gamble a life-changing sum of money needs to have access to these programs.
CoinRoyale is a bitcoin casino that certainly has some great features and a superb design, with well thought-out games and components. While some things can be added to improve it, CoinRoyale certainly offers a fine gambling experience.
