Flattr, the micropayment tipping system, has just announced that it will now allow users to fund their account with bitcoin. The service, which was created by one of the founders of the Pirate Bay, has the goal of providing an easy way for content creators to gain tip-like payment from the public. Bitcoin social tipping and micropayment service provider ChangeTip will soon charge a fee on Bitcoin and USD withdrawals, for both digital content providers and ChangeTip users. "Sending tips via ChangeTip is currently free, but we can't keep it free forever. ChangeTip believes in paying for what you use (micropayments) instead of subscription fees.
