UNOCS, the altcoin partnership between Feathercoin, PhenixCoin and Worldcoin, has announced a new payment system. This system enables instant payments between consumers and merchants. Called UNOCS Bridge it effectively works as an escrow service where users load their account with digital currency for instant payment to merchants. The process by which UNOCS Bridge works is similar in principal to a BTC exchange voucher or a preloaded credit card. International payments platform GoCoin has announced a technology partnership with point-of-sales (POS) service provider Apriva. Apriva's Gateway connects payment devices, merchant acquirers and payment processors to deploy and manage wireless payments. This new service will allow Coinbase users to send and receive Bitcoin payments instantly. Coinbase says that the Instant Exchange will protect people from Bitcoin price volatility, since they will be able to complete transactions so quickly.
