Elizabeth Ploshay and Micky Malka have been elected to the board of the Bitcoin Foundation. Ploshay, manager of communications at Bitcoin Magazine, received 90 votes, which equates to 25.1% of all the votes cast for the individual seat. Serial entrepreneur, angel investor and venture capitalist Malka received 26 (72.2%) of the votes for the industry seat. Ploshay and Malka join the likes of Mt. As an update to a post in mid-February that indicated a vacant industry seat on the Board of Directors of the Bitcoin Foundation was available, the Foundation has posted an update that indicated that two industry seats are now available on the board. Industry Members are able to nominate an individual for a position on the board, and the elected member will join the current board members: Micky Malka (Ribbit Capital), Mark Karpeles (Mt.
