BitPay Now Integrated into Shopify
Not terribly long ago newsBTC published a report that indicated that Shopify merchants would soon be able to accept Bitcoin. It looks like that has finally happened. The 70,000+ sellers on the Shopify network are now able to use the BitPay integration to accept Bitcoins as opposed to traditional fiat currency. One user on Reddit says, "I've already had three BTC sales from it!" This is certainly a great option for the sellers who enjoy the convenience of Bitcoin and don't want to deal with credit card processors who take hefty fees. What are your thoughts?

Online e-commerce marketplace platform Shopify has announced a new partnership with bitcoin financial services provider Coinbase that will allow its roughly 70,000 merchants to integrate bitcoin processing services on their websites. The move is notable as Shopify began accepting bitcoin payments in November, electing at the time to offer BitPay as a payment option to its merchants.
