Bitcoin Alliance of Canada Launches
Just launched today is the Bitcoin Alliance of Canada (BAC), with a self-described "new community building platform and membership structure" that aims to promote mass-understanding and acceptance of the digital currency in Canada. At the helm of the Toronto-based organization is executive director Anthony Di Iorio, who previously founded a Bitcoin gambling venture. Di Iorio served as Executive Director of the Bitcoin Alliance of Canada since it was formed in 2012, during which he helped spread awareness of Bitcoin across Canada.
