With the precision of Occupy Wall Street, the Dark Wallet symposium assembled in a cold social center near the center of Milan. People trickled in from this country and that with no specific expectation. A dozen or so cultures represented, all present with the purpose of delivering tools to the people. Dark Wallet is not about the antithesis of anything,....

What is behind Dark Wallet, the new plug-in browser-based bitcoin wallet designed for non-technical users, and described in the New Yorker last week? Although, one can argue the right to financial privacy because bitcoin is only pseudo-anonymous. I took my questions to computer security expert, Kristov Atlas, author of Anonymous Bitcoin, to see what he thought. "You've....
The Dark Wallet Alpha release is slated for May Day. Late 4/24/14, Dark Wallet unveiled a strange promotional video for the upcoming Dark Wallet Alpha with release date slated for May Day. “Should I call it ‘Drug Market Ultra’ or ‘Death Market Revival’?” a man asks sheepishly while grasping a machine gun. Opera music plays over the company logo and a clip of President Barack Obama. The camera pans over a blue sign that reads “good luck.” For anyone with a passing familiarity of political rhetoric about the dangers of crypto-currencies, the debates over the merits of injecting Bitcoin with....
