Bitcoin Mentioned on American TV Show 'The Simpsons'

Popular American TV cartoon 'The Simpsons' recently aired an episode that gives a small nod (kick in the groin) to bitcoin. In the scene, the character Krusty the Clown says the following: Yeah, all it takes is some bad luck at the ponies, worse luck at the bitcoin market, heavy investment... Now what's interesting about this is that it raises a very important, yet simple question. Has bitcoin gone mainstream? Given the reference on The Simpsons (which for you international readers is a huge show in the U. S.), we'd say it has. Clip is after the break. It may be removed by the copyright....

It wasn't that long ago that Bitcoin was first mentioned on the Fox network, outside of ignorant bits on Fox News, on American culture displayboard: The Simpsons. I now suspect that we have some Bitcoiners hidden away in the better parts of the Fox Network. Bitcoin goes yellow as Simpsons episode features BTC price rising to infinity

"Mmmmmmm... Bitcoin..." The Simpsons, one of the most popular animated sitcoms in TV history, has made a rather bullish prediction for the price of Bitcoin. In Sunday's episode of the 31-year-running cartoon, titled "Burger Kings," the characters get into the financial market for stocks of a new burger chain created by the town's billionaire, Montgomery Burns. When Marge is checking on her gains during an episode of "Crazy Cash" — seemingly parodying Jim Cramer’s Mad Money — the ticker feed clearly shows the price of Bitcoin (BTC) next to a green infinity symbol. Other comedic predictions....

Peter Griffin, the father from Family Guy, met Homer Simpson, the father from The Simpsons, and had hilarious lines of dialogue.? At one point, the two were drinking beer together. Laden with subtle hints of criticism that Family Guy is just a rip off, the conversation turns to the differences between Duff....
