Helsinki, Finland. A place best-known for islands, forts and Linux pioneer Linus Torvalds, has made the news as the official home of Europe's first bitcoin ATM. Earlier this month, Swedish bitcoin exchange Safello announced that it would deploy the first bitcoin ATM in downtown Stockholm. However, it appears that Finland beat them to the punch, which is hardly surprising, given the long rivalry between the Scandinavian nations. Railway tracks. Helsinki Railway Station Gets Finland's First Bitcoin ATM

Source: bittiraha.fi. There's a lot of buzz surrounding bitcoin ATMs. Vancouver has one. Stockholm has one. And now Finland has one. It's located in the high-traffic Helsinki railway station. Finnish website bittiraha.fi says they're behind the ATM, and have posted pictures for the purpose of proving so.
