HashCows is one of those mining pools that auto-switches coins based on profitability. Unfortunately for its users, the site was just hacked a few hours ago. According to "nearmiss", a site admin at HashCows, "There's been a breach this afternoon with a number of users reporting payout addresses being changed and manual payouts being triggered to the new address. The somewhat awkwardly named Give Me COINS multicoin mining pool was just recently hacked, specifically the Litecoin pool. Pool admins have acknowledged the breach and are currently investigating the issue. Bitmain has announced the launch of its latest open source BTC.com bitcoin mining pool with new improvements and attractive pricing. Bitmain, the Bitcoin Mining ASICs manufacturer has launched a new open source mining pool.
