On December 19th, 2013, it was reported that European cellular carrier Mobile Vikings would begin accepting bitcoin payments. The carrier serves The Netherlands, Belgium, and Poland, and has preliminary statistics on just how bitcoin is doing with their service. "We have reached almost 100 payments via Bitcoin the past days," said Dorien Aerts, Chief Marketing Officer at the company in a statement to newsBTC.
