Just recently. Overstock.com began accepting Bitcoin payments. The launch was a massive success, with the company seeing over $125,000 in sales. After less than a week, Overstock has decided to share some statistics on its Bitcoin transactions. The items most purchased with Bitcoin were: Sheets. Cell phone cases. Flash drives. Bath towels. A legislative effort that would have allowed New Hampshire residents to pay their tax bills using bitcoin has been defeated. The New Hampshire House of Representatives voted 264 to 74 to kill the bill on 20th January – a move that came just over a year after the measure was first introduced.
