The United States and Canada aren't the online places where the use and interest in bitcoin is booming. Finland, too, has a good number of citizens who find the digital currency appealing. Finnish news website YLE reports that it is estimated that approximately 20,000 Finnish people are somehow or another already tinkering with bitcoin, according to Henry Brade, a self-described bitcoin entrepreneur. A new report has found that over half of the respondents believe that segments investing and asset management, payments, and crowdfunding/lending have the greatest potential for the future of FinTech, but that revenue development lies in blockchain companies. Perhaps this bit of news (via Reddit) comes as no surprise, but user interest in Bitcoin in China has apparently spiked since the last semi-bubble. Up over 100 percent. That's an incredible climb, and just goes to prove their is immense interest in the cryptocurrency. The question is, when will interest in Bitcoin spill into surrounding countries?
