Mt. Gox has announced the commencement of bankruptcy proceedings in Japan. Attorney at law Nobuaki Kobayashi has been appointed as the bankruptcy trustee. The troubled bitcoin exchange filed for liquidation in a Tokyo court earlier this month, dropping its plans for civil rehabilitation.
