The folks at Blockchain.info have released what they're calling the 'Blockchain Merchant App' for devices running the Android mobile operating system. It's exactly as it sounds, an application that serves as an easy means for businesses to accept bitcoin from their clients. Merchants interested in the application simply need to download from the Google Play Store, set up a 4-digit PIN, specify the receiving bitcoin address, the name of the business and currency preference, and wham-bam, an instant way to start accepting payments.
