Bitcoin Core version 0.9.0 has been released and is available from the Bitcoin website. This is a major version release that provides new features, as well as bug fixes. Upgrades include: a name change to Bitcoin Core; a faster wallet GUI; fixes relating to Transaction Malleability; improvements to blockchain handling and storage; a lower network relay fee; many protocol changes and optimizations.
