Blockchain Adds Former Merrill Lynch, Facebook Execs as Advisors

Bitcoin startup Blockchain has added a former banking chairman and a former Facebook executive to its team of advisors. The announcements were issued on Blockchain's blog over the past two days, with former chairman for Merrill Lynch Europe, Middle East and Africa Bob Wigley, revealing his role in a post today. There is a rumor out now that Facebook has, or is, implementing Bitcoin payments on their advertising platform. Facebook Lawyer Joins Bitcoin Startup Bitreserve

San Francisco-based Bitcoin startup Bitreserve has added Facebook lawyer Craig Clark as the Executive Vice President and General Counsel, the company announced in a blog post. The move comes a couple of weeks after the company promoted the former Nike CIO Anthony Watson as the new Chief Executive Officer and a member of The Board of Directors.
