Internet search engine DuckDuckGo is joining the bitcoin club. Well, sort of. The engine, which prides itself on protecting user privacy, is now displaying bitcoin price quotes on relevant search queries. Queries the likes of "bitcoin price" will display quotes for easy reference. The quote box supplies the user to the Markets page at Blockchain.info, which serves as an additional resource. Biteasy is the startup behind an API that lets developers pull transaction data directly from the bitcoin block chain.
