The bitcoin community has hit full-force with their kindness once again. If a massive donation drive to benefit Dorian Nakamoto, the man pegged by Newsweek as the Satoshi Nakamoto (you know, the one who created bitcoin) wasn't enough, the community has turned to help Hal Finney. Hal Finney was one of the first few users to embrace the bitcoin technology. He was extremely active in helping make the technology better, but has been suffering from ALS (amyotrophic lateral sclerosis) - a terminal disease which affects muscle usage. In the wake of bitcoin groundbreaker Hal Finney's passing a few days ago, some prominent figures in the bitcoin community have teamed up in a campaign to raise funds for research into amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS). Erik Voorhees, co-founder of Coinapult, Jason King of Sean's Outpost, bitcoin evangelist Roger Ver, BitPay and the Bitcoin Foundation have collaborated to provide a way to donate bitcoin to ALS research.
