Bitcoin Foundation Announces Bitcoin 2014 Startup Challenge Finalists
The Bitcoin Foundation on Tuesday announced the eight finalists for the Startup Challenge taking place at the Bitcoin 2014 conference in Amsterdam this week. The eight finalists are divided into two groups, and they will be competing on Saturday, May 17th. Contestants for the "Won for the People" competition (presented by the Bitcoin Foundation) are: XBTerminal, who've designed a bitcoin point-of-sale terminal. Bitcoin custodian Elliptic has been selected to compete for a $50,000 prize in the Startup Challenge Finale at SWIFT's Sibos conference.
