CoinTerra Tackles Backlog of 200 Refund Requests as Complaints Mount

Bitcoin mining hardware producer CoinTerra has moved to reassure customers after it emerged a number of complaints about the company have been lodged with the Better Business Bureau (BBB). Some 11 complaints relating to CoinTerra have been closed with the BBB in the last 12 months. Two of these related to advertising and sales issues, one related to guarantee and warranty issues and eight related to problems with the company's products or service. News publication Ars Technica has an interesting report out this morning regarding a well-known bitcoin mining hardware manufacturer. In a response to a Freedom of Information Act request submitted by Ars, we're learning that almost 300 complaints have been filed with the Federal Trade Commission (FTC) regarding Kansas-based Butterfly Labs in the past 18 months. Bitcoin ASIC builder Terrahash changes refund policy and refuses customer

Terrahash, one of several ASIC mining rig builders, has changed its refund policy. The company's FAQ has recently been updated to say that all orders are final. It does, however, say that customers can request a refund prior to shipping, and such requests will be considered on a case-by-case basis.
