The Bitcoin Foundation announced another notable hire on Friday morning. The non-profit organization, which seeks to standardize, protect, and promote bitcoin usage, said they have brought aboard former NASA veteran Andrew Lampe as their new Technical Director. His work began at NASA's Goddard Spaceflight Center in Maryland working on the HIVE supercomputer, eventually moving to work at Monster.com in the late 1990s.
