Luther Lowe, the Director of Public Policy at Yelp, has made a $10,000 Bitcoin donation to his alma mater, the Arkansas School for Mathematics, Sciences and the Arts (ASMSA). The payment was made online through BitPay while Luther Lowe was on stage at ASMSA's commencement ceremony. A California bankruptcy court is set to weigh in on whether bitcoin should be considered a currency.
