CAVIRTEX Sprinkles Small Army of BitAccess Bitcoin ATMs in Canada
Canadian bitcoin exchange CAVIRTEX is looking to get into the bitcoin ATM space. We already had an indication of this happening, when the exchange teased a picture of a line of BitAccess ATMs in a warehouse at the end of July. At the time, we didn't have a whole lot of information, but we're learning that at least six of the machines have launched today, and another four will be launching shortly. It effectively makes Canada the country with the most bitcoin ATMs in the world, beginning with the first two-way ATM installed by Las Vegas-based Robocoin last year in a downtown Vancouver....

A new fleet of BitXATM machines is set to launch across Canada in the coming months. Quadriga CX, Canada's largest Bitcoin exchange, has big plans to install their new SumoPro two-way bitcoin ATMs in prime locations across the country. These units will be delivered in batches of five and placed in several major cities including Vancouver, Toronto and Montreal. CAVIRTEX has launched its first six bitcoin-branded ATMs in the greater Toronto area. The machines mark the first phase of the exchange's larger plan to bring 10 bitcoin ATMs to Canada through a partnership with Gateway Newstands, a retail chain with 500 locations in North America.
