Litecoin Mining Pools Receive Help from KNC to Improve Titan Hash Rate
KNC is working with mining pools to improve the hash rate for their Titan customers after learning that customers saw hash rates under the promised 300MH/s. KNC is focusing on working with CleverMining as they're the largest pool on the Litecoin network. KNC has tested the Titan on several mining pools and has noted that certain pools perform notably better. WeMineLTC, GHash, and LiteGuardian are the highest performing pools tested while Coinotron and CleverMining mining pools are consistently lower. Earlier today, KnCMiner updated their website to reveal a Litecoin Mining Hardware tab, right next to their Bitcoin Mining Hardware tab. Under the new tab, KnCMiner reveals information on their newest ASIC miner: The Titan. The Titan is a 100 MH/s Scrypt ASIC that is designed to be used on the Litecoin network. Of course, there are hundreds of other Scrypt-based altcoins that are clones of Litecoin with slightly modded parameters. The Titan can be used to mine on any of those altcoins as well. Foundry entered the cryptocurrency mining game in August 2020. Foundry, a wholly owned cryptocurrency mining subsidiary of Digital Currency Group, or DCG, has entered the top 10 largest Bitcoin (BTC) mining pools in the world.The firm's CEO, Barry Silbert, announced the news on Tuesday, predicting that Foundry will soon break into the top five mining pools list.At publishing time, Foundry has a total hash rate of 2.74 exahashes per second, according to data from block explorer BTC.com.
