Uber has denied that it is currently integrating bitcoin as a payment option for its on-demand mobile ride-sharing services. The text of the message suggested that Uber was "currently making bitcoin work" for the service, but offered few supporting details. While a customer service representative of Uber did tell Bruce that they were working on integrating Bitcoin, the company has since retracted the statement and denied that it was ever true in the first place.
