Here's what we are looking at for the evening session in the bitcoin price on Monday. Before we get going on this evening’s bitcoin price analysis, take a quick look at the chart below. It’s a fifteen-minute candlestick chart that shows the action seen in the bitcoin price over the weekend, and this morning, with today’s framework overlaid. As the chart shows, the range we were looking at this morning was defined by in term support at 418 flat and in term resistance at 422. Its been a bit of an odd day in the bitcoin price markets. Having initially kicked off the European session with some interim gains, the bitcoin price reversed pretty sharply from intraday highs and collapsed to reach lows just shy of where things currently sit. This has two implications for tonight's session. The first, that we have a nicely defined intraday range that gives us something solid to trade throughout Asia. The second, that in spite of this range, its going to be difficult to form a central bias - at least near term. Without any consistency in overarching momentum, we are....

It’s been a pretty slow day in the bitcoin price space, and this has weighed on our ability to get into the markets. We had a pretty volatile end to last week, and some decent action over the weekend allowed us to draw some profit from a few positions, but the current action looks to be representative of the start of the week slumps we’ve seen across the last couple of months – range bound, no real breakouts, and when we do see a breakout, it doesn’t result in any sort of sustained momentum we can....
Here's what we are looking to trade in the bitcoin price this afternoon. In this morning’s bitcoin price watch piece focusing on today’s session, we noted that as a result of action overnight, we would be tightening our range, and approaching the market with a pure breakout strategy (rather than a combination of our breakout and our intra-range approaches). Action has now matured across the European morning session, and we are about to head into the US afternoon and beyond that – into the Asian session tonight. With this in mind, and as we move forward into the aforementioned periods, what....
So this morning we published our twice daily bitcoin price watch piece, highlighting the levels that we would be looking at during Monday's European session. Action has now matured throughout the day, and as we head into a fresh Asian session this evening, what are the levels we are watching in tonight's bitcoin price market, and where will we look to get in and out according to our intraday strategy.
