Loucis CK Accepts Bitcoin for New Show “Horace and Pete”
American comedian and producer Louis C.K has released his new show “Horace and Pete,” offering bitcoin as a payment option. The show, which is available for download on the official website of Louis CK, is sold at US$5, through financial platforms including Paypal, Dwolla, Amazon and BitPay. Fans of Louis CK can simply visit the page, type in an email, settle transaction using BitPay and purchase the show. If you follow the Bitcoin subreddit on social sharing website Reddit.com, you may or may not have come across an interesting post this morning. In short, it would appear as if Yelp (a business review site, if you live under a rock) now allows business owners to specify whether or not a business accepts bitcoin. The image provided by the submitted clearly shows a "Accepts Bitcoin" yes/no option directly below the "Accepts Credit Cards" option in the back-end options. Seems that there's a Starbucks in Torrance, California that accepts Bitcoin tips. Whether or not the store accepts Bitcoin for the actual purchase is unknown, but it's unlikely since that would probably have to be approved by Starbucks' corporate headquarters.
