Bitcoin Price Watch; Here’s Tonight’s Approach

Here's a look at what we are focusing on in the bitcoin price this evening. So that’s another day done in the bitcoin price markets, and the time has come for us to take stock of action throughout the day and see where we can use this action in tonight’s strategy. Things got a little slow overnight, and those that read this morning’s analysis will be aware that we used some slightly longer term levels to set up against the markets this morning, in anticipation of waiting out price action a little bit until we saw some volatility and – more importantly, we got some action we could trade on....

Here's what we are looking at for tonight's bitcoin price watch, with a focus on our standard breakout strategy against a slightly altered framework. So the European session has now come to an end in the bitcoin price, and it’s time to publish our take on what action throughout today’s session suggests about what we are looking at for tonight’s session. It has been a pretty interesting 24 hours, with action overnight kicking off the beginnings of what turned out to be a pretty large, sustained upside move – and in doing so – giving us a couple of nice opportunities to get in to the upside....

The European session is drawing to a close, and it’s heading into lunch time in the US. As usual, this means it’s time for the second of our twice daily bitcoin price watch analysis pieces, so here goes. First, we will have a quick look at what action threw out today, and then we can interpret this action and use it to try and figure out how we can approach this evening’s trading. So, to kick things off, take a quick look at the chart below. It represents action seen during the last 24 or so hours. As the chart shows, volume this morning was pretty low, and price action has remained well....

Here's what we are going to watch for tonight's session in the bitcoin price. Before we get started on this evening’s analysis, there are two things worth pointing out from this morning’s publication. The first, that we remain well within the range we slated, which likely means that we’ve seen the end of last’s night’s decline, at least temporarily. Second, that we did get a brief correction, and we managed to pick out the reversal point almost to the cent. Bragging rights aside, why is this important? Well, it validates our upside key level (i.e. resistance) and suggests there’s probably....

Here’s what we are focusing on for this evening's session in the bitcoin price. Action in the bitcoin price has matured across the European session, and hasn’t quite played out in our favor. That is, at least, from a long term holding perspective. Shorter term, we saw a decent amount of volatility, and managed to get in to a trade according to our predefined breakout strategy a little earlier on this afternoon. That position has now closed, and with it, the European session is about to draw to a concurrent close. So as we head into a fresh afternoon out of the US, and as action matures....
