Bitcoin Price Watch; 1000 Back In Play!
Here's a look at what we are focusing on in the bitcoin price this morning. In yesterday evening’s analysis, we noted that – as a result of the action we have seen over the last few days in the bitcoin price – the 1000 level might come into play it soon. We opined that it may take a week or so, but in an optimistic forecast, we also noted that if we saw a break to the upside, it could come into play much sooner than that. As things turned out, this latter suggestion has proven valid. Overnight action saw the bitcoin price run through our predefined resistance level, giving us an....

Here's a look at what we are focusing on in the bitcoin price this evening. We’ve come to the end of the week for our daily bitcoin price analysis, and it has been quite an interesting one, to say the least. After the initial sharp run we saw last Sunday (which came on the back of a previous run seen throughout the holiday period) and the follow-through heading into the middle of the week, price seemed to have had enough, and took a nose dive. The bitcoin price broke support at 1200, 1100, then 1000 – levels we had smashed through just days earlier, and fell to find what amounts to (albeit....
Here's a look at what we are focusing on in the bitcoin price this morning. Okay. Action overnight played out pretty much as we hoped it would in the bitcoin price. From what was a relatively muted start to the week, things started to pick up during the late evening session on Monday, and price looked as though it was going to break through the 1000 mark and get running to the upside once again. We did eventually get this break, but nothing more than a spike through it, and we are currently trading at or around this level right now. It means that we can use 1000 as a key level during....
It should no longer be a surprise that the price of Bitcoin hit $1000 this week on Japanese exchange Mt. Gox, but now, another exchange has creeped up to the $1000 mark. That's Bitstamp, of course. The exchange, which has always trailed a ways behind Mt. Gox (except for recently when the price between Mt. Gox and Bitstamp were nearly equal) is now in the 4 digits - which really reinforces just how valuable Bitcoin has become. The question is: will the $1000+ price keep it up?

The Bitstamp Price Index (BPI) reveals bitcoin scaling the $1000 milestone at 16:30 (UTC) on Thursday and despite a brief dip shortly after, bitcoin was trading to the dollar at $1010 at the end of day. Momentum stuck through the early hours of Friday as price swelled further to register a high of $1022.6 at 06:30. Prices fell below the threshold again toward $998 before recovering near....
