A proposal to study bitcoin regulation in North Dakota has reportedly run into some opposition. As reported last week by CoinDesk, North Dakota’s legislature has taken up a measure that, if passed, would mandate a study into how the state could approach putting together a legislative framework for the tech. The case for regulation

Daniel Cawrey at CoinDesk broke down a few arguments for why government regulation on some level would be a benefit to Bitcoin. This has been a hot topic in the US since the November 18 Senate committee hearing on digital currencies. Brazilian Congressman Calls for Hearing on Bitcoin Regulation

Brazilian Congressman Manoel Junior has proposed a public hearing to discuss bitcoin and digital currency regulation.
