Four collaborative NFTs launched by musician Two Feet and visual artist FEWOCiOUS have generated more than $1m in Nifty Gateway’s largest auction of 2021 so far. The auctions were organized by Illumino, an NFT-focused firm seeking to bring “tastemakers and artists” together to launch innovative art on-chain. The French government will auction 611 bitcoins that were seized from hackers next week. There will be two sales comprised of 478 lots altogether. Each lot consists of between 0.11 and 20 bitcoins. US Marshals: Latest Bitcoin Auction Timed to Avoid Market Disruption

Noted bitcoin investor Barry Silbert has announced Bitcoin Investment Trust will form a syndicate for the auction. The US Marshals Service (USMS) has revealed it intends to auction potentially all of the 144,000 BTC confiscated from Ross Ulbricht during its Silk Road investigation in the coming months, but that it has elected to break up the sales in order to prevent disruptions to the bitcoin market.
