Apple app store reportedly blocks Gnosis Safe wallet update for hosting NFTs

Apple has barred Gnosis Safe from applying an app update unless the firm provides access to NFTs as an in-app purchase. The Apple App Store reportedly blocked a Gnosis Safe crypto wallet app update due to it hosting NFTs that weren’t purchased inside the app. Lukas Schor —a product developer at Ethereum-based crypto wallet provider Gnosis Safe — revealed the firm ran into trouble when it submitted an updated version of its app to the IOS app store earlier this month. Schor noted on Sept. 14 that despite the update having nothing to do with non-fungibles, the App Store flagged a sample....

Apple and Bitcoin Make Peace with Blockchain

Remember how Apple pulled all the cryptocurrency apps back in January? With the news that Apple would once again be allowing digital currency wallets, Blockchain has been working on re-releasing their wallet app, and it's finally here. Those with jailbroken Iphones were able to bypass Apple's restrictive App Store and download the Blockchain app through Cydia, the App Store-equivalent for jailbroken phones. Those without jailbroken phones were left with a choice to either be left without any bitcoin wallet or jailbreak their phone. However jailbreaking your phone comes with the risk of....

Three Arrows Capital fund moves over 300 NFTs to a new address

According to blockchain provider Nansen, hundreds of NFTs have been moved from the 3AC-linked fund to a Gnosis Safe address. Apple Approves Dogecoin Wallet App for iOS

...wow? Yes, really. After just recently removing Blockchain from the App Store, Apple has approved the first Dogecoin wallet app for the App Store. It's called MYDOGE, and it's available free for iPhones, iPads, and iPod Touches. This is pretty surprising seeing that Apple's been aggressively removing Bitcoin wallets from the App Store. Why should Dogecoin be treated any differently? It seems that MYDOGE is a read-only wallet. It can be used to monitor a wallet's balance, but it CANNOT be used to send or receive DOGE. This might help explain how the app got approved, since it's not really....

CoinJar to Pull Their iOS Wallet App This Week Due to Apple Policies

Australian bitcoin exchange CoinJar has for a while had their wallet application up-for-grabs on Apple's iOS App Store. Interestingly so, because most of its competitors' apps with similar (if not the same) functionality had already been removed for violating Apple's money-transmitting policy. But not CoinJar, their resilient little app became the lone soldier on a battleground. But no longer, it appears. CoinJar today announced their application will be pulled from the iOS App Store by the end of this week. Apple reportedly gave CoinJar an ultimatum: remove the receive and transmitting....
